A woman with dark brown hair wearing a white blouse, brown pants, and black shoes sitting on a dark brown velvet sofa in a room. Hobart based copywriter for creative founders.

HEY! I’M JEN—A COPYWRITER, STORYTELLER AND YOUR NEW CREATIVE WINGWOMAN.

I help creatives, founders and service-based business owners define their unique magic and share it with the world.

I’VE BEEN COLLABORATING WITH CLIENTS ON THEIR BRANDS AND CAMPAIGNS FOR 15 YEARS. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT MY FIRST RODEO. BUT PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME RIDE AN ACTUAL HORSE. I’LL HAVE A PANIC ATTACK, AND THE POOR HORSE DOESN’T DESERVE THAT.

In addition to the marketing and advertising arena, I’ve also spent time on the ground in retail, hospitality and small business environments. So I know firsthand—first impressions are everything. My people-first instincts mean I will look at things through a customer lens and can offer strategic insights to elevate their relationship with your brand.

Copywriting is fun, but I’m no one-trick pony. My pen and I have explored everything from fashion blogging to music reviews, cultural essays, PR, editorial, artist profiles, and poetry, too. If you’re interested in my essays and various musings, sneak a peek at my Substack.

Now you know all about me, I want to hear about you!

WHAT DOES ‘JNSQ’ STAND FOR? GLAD YOU ASKED.

‘Je ne sais quoi’ is a French expression, referring to ‘that little something’.

It’s an appealing or special quality you can’t quite put your finger on. You know when something (or someone) is just a cut above the rest and you can’t really explain why, they just have…it?

I like to think of it like magic — your substance and sparkle. Your signature thing that clients love you for. The best people have it (and the best brands). But if you don’t talk about what makes you different from the rest, your dream client can’t find you. And if you can’t properly define it...it’s pretty hard to talk about.

But you don’t need to figure it out on your own — just click all the links and leave the words to me.
