I’m a freak for words (and the way they make people feel).
My writing journey officially began as a fashion blogger (back in the days of Alexander McQueen and Alexa Chung), and as a diehard fangirl I’ve written live music reviews, artist profiles and music press releases too! Before I became a copywriter, I hustled for 10 years in Brisbane/meanjin’s advertising scene working on a huge range of brand & marketing campaigns.
I have also spent a lot of time on the ground in retail and hospitality environments, so I know firsthand—customer service is everything. I will look at your business through a customer lens, provide strategic insights and elevate the customer journey across various touchpoints as we go.
I pair marketing insights with creative flair to write my way into your customer’s heart!

Why is my copywriting business called ‘jen ne sais quoi’?
Great question! No, I don’t speak French (yet).
The French phrase ‘je ne sais quoi’ refers to ‘that little something’.
It’s an appealing or special quality you can’t quite put your finger on. You know when something (or someone) is just a cut above the rest and you can’t really explain why, they just have…it? I like to think of it like a kind of magic — your substance and sparkle.
The best people have it (and the best brands)! But if you don’t talk about what makes you special, your dream client can’t find you. And if you don’t properly define it...it’s pretty hard to talk about.
My belief is that sharing your magic with the world is the most powerful way to connect with people and find a community who care as much as you do.
And I want that for everyone! Especially you.
